Peace Arch Park History and Sculpture Exhibit
Interpretive Tour May 24, 2005

The USCPAA welcomed Pitt Meadows Teacher Leah Kitamura and her ESL students (grades 8 - 12) to the international park in late May. The 25 students in her class were from Austria, Argentina, Indonesia, China, Japan, Korea, India and Canada. The students brought their cameras with them to take pictures for their families back home. We invited the students to send us comments about their experience in the park after their tour.

We are pleased to post photos of the tour along with the students experience on our web site. The students’ comments have made a lasting impression on us. They give us all special insight into what people from around the world see (and feel) as they visit the Peace Arch. It was a pleasure to meet the students and give them an interpretive tour.

"Here is some feedback from our international students.
We hope you enjoy reading.

"We want to thank Leah Kitamura for your time
and effort to bring the students to the park for a tour."
